Tetris 99 once again comes with an online event where all players will be able to prove who is the best and get a special in-game theme of the latest Kirby title in the new edition of the Maximus Cup. Players who participate in the event will be able to earn different event points that can be exchanged for different in-game items.
Tetris 99 celebrates Kirby’s anniversary
Kirby and the Forgotten Land comes as a 30th anniversary celebration title and what better way to celebrate it in a classic title of the Tetris franchise than with the new edition of the Maximus Cup. This event that has already had more than two dozen editions, arrives with its 29th edition to celebrate such a historic milestone.
Players who participate in the event will get event points for each game. These event points can be exchanged for different items, including the “Kirby Fighters 2” theme and the “Super Kirby Clash” theme for one in-game ticket each.
This event is already active in Tetris 99, and players will have the opportunity to get all the in-game themes of Kirby and the Forgotten Land until June 30. After the event, players will also be able to get the in-game themes for 30 tickets each.
So this new edition of the Maximus Cup is not to be missed! Tetris 99 is available for Nintendo Switch for free. To participate in the event you need to have an active Nintendo Switch Online membership.
