Bethesda has released nearly 10 minutes of Rage 2 gameplay footage. The video shows off a number of the game’s weapons, enemies, and the environment that you will play in.
Rage 2 is a first-person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic open world environment inhabited with mutants. Most of humanity died after an asteroid hit the planet, but those that remained were left to live in a wasteland. The game, which is a sequel to 2010’s Rage for PS3 and Xbox 360, takes place 30 years after the original.
The original game was not particularly memorable or groundbreaking, but it was a fun shooter. The sequel looks like it will likewise be entertaining but not revolutionary.
Rage 2 is set for release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 14, 2019. You can pre-order the game now at Amazon, Walmart, and GameStop.
