The content creator who departed Twitch this year for his new home on YouTube Gaming, and his wife, has reached and surpassed the unprecedented milestone of $10 million in cumulative fundraising for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during a four-year period. Build Against Cancer is the name of the yearly charity event for the content producer, which had to be shifted to YouTube this year due to Dr Lupo’s arrangement to solely broadcast with YouTube Gaming.
Dr Lupo and his wife, MrsDrLupo finished his 24-hour broadcast Build Against Cancer for the vital cause of “St. Jude: Finding cures, rescuing children” on Sunday, December 19, raising more than $892k. As a result of this, Dr. Lupo has become the single largest single content provider to generate the most money for St. Jude.

The Streamer’s connection with St. Jude has always been favorable. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital honored the content producer with the Content Creator of the Year award in 2019 for the beneficial impact of his work.
To thank him for reaching this historic milestone for both parties, the St. Jude team has prepared a video in which we can see workers, patients, content creators, and even the president and CEO of ALSAC, the St. Jude fundraising and awareness organization that Dr. Lupo watched during his 24-hour live show with his wife.
