Featuring 75 North American squads, they are competing for a 200k prize pool.
Activision, in collaboration with Twitch, is hosting the fourth World Series of Warzone competition starting today through November 17. There are up to 75 squads, with big names from different content creation platforms such as Teepee, Swagg, Shawnjgaming, and more.
The biggest prize pool yet
This new World Series of Warzone features the biggest prize pool yet. There’s a $200k pot, plus an additional $100k is up for grabs in the Captain’s Cup, featuring a fun twist that will be led by some of the biggest names in Call of Duty esports.
In the Captain’s Cup, captains are entrusted with choosing a team of duos, after which they will engage in a 14-round live draft through a snake draft, which will be concluded when five teams of 15 duos are formed.
This year’s reward is not simply the largest. It is also one of the most eclectic, with a wide range of players taking part. Each duo will have a duo squad commander and will feature Activision-invited players, representatives from Call of Duty League teams, and winners of the program’s official qualifications, including the squad that wins the World Series of Warzone open qualifier on the GameBattles platform.
The entire competition will be streamed live on Twitch Rivals. So far, the build-up to the inaugural World Series games has been ongoing. So if you’re interested in Call of Duty: Warzone or eSports contests, feel free to tune in.
