Streamer Spotlight is a series where we feature upcoming streamers. If you would like to be featured, follow us on Twitter @vgamestreamers and send us a message. This week we are interviewing @OctagonRon.
What types of games do you like to stream?
I like to solve problems and shoot. Those are my tickle spots. 🙂
When did you first start streaming on Twitch?
I started in 2016 off and on, but I did not become a full-time streamer until last June.
What was your inspiration to start streaming?
At first, it was just because my friends wanted to spectate.
How difficult has it been to build a following for your channel?
The hard part is the time. It’s such a grind in that chair.
What have you found to be a successful way to manage the difficulties of streaming?
I nap. A LOT. Naps cure everything.
What do you do outside of streaming?
I have Jeb my bulldog, and golf, and food – a lot of food.
When can viewers most likely find you streaming?
I do split shifts but mid-morning and mid-evening. I can’t be up too early, and I don’t have the will to be up past midnight.
What are short term and long term goals for your channel?
Short term, I’d like to add better graphics. Long term, I still think I’ll still be thinking longer term. Things are so unpredictable.
What has been your greatest success so far in your streaming career?
I love my peoples. They are it.
Is there anything else you would like the readers of this interview to know about you or your channel?
I’m loud and proud and laugh way too much. But we have fun. And be nice. That is all.
